This is Amy, one of Ryan's housemates from school. I met you briefly a couple times when you came to visit. I have been wondering how to tell you about Ryan, but I guess the journal is the only way I knew of. As mozafari said, Ryan died last weekend. He was killed in a car accident at about 1:30am on Saturday morning (July 30). As of right now I don't know what the funeral arrangements are, but if you would like to know, I will post them on your journal for you when I find out more information.

If you need anything or would ever like to talk, my journal name is little_rockite. I would be happy to talk with you, especially if you would like to know more details about Ryan. He was one of my best friends, and will be missed horribly. I'm sorry that you had to find out this way.
