I played my guitar at No Frills today and made $60. Not bad for about 5 hours of work. I've done better before. I'm going to go back tomorrow and try to make a little more for the weekend.

I was planning on making another trip to Peterborough this weekend, but it seems that won't be happening anymore.

what is this new job you were talking about? and why were you going to peterborough? plus, you made this remark that you would no longer be able to post to LJ or facebook - what up?

I'm still posting to livejournal, but I'm limiting my facebook time.
That new job sucked so much that I quit/got fired on the second day. I wasn't down with being a door-to-door salesperson. On top of that, the managers were rude, insensitive, money grubbing assholes.
I was out in the pouring rain for 5 hours, soaking wet, approaching hypothermia and they couldn't have cared less. When I decided that it was physically impossible for me to work anymore they came to pick up their lawn aerator, took the money that I made from the single $40 sale I made in five hours, didn't ask me if I was alright and fired me/assumed I was quitting on the spot.
I was in peterborough because I have a bunch of friends there. I'm probably going back next weekend.

I wrote a more detailed post about it a few days ago. I had it set as a private post because I feel embarassed about what happened. I'm over the embarassment now, so I've made the post public.
