You have every right to be annoyed rather than amused. That manager should go to staff management courses although NZ is not noted for good managers. Competitive people so often get promoted about their level of competence with no managerial skills at all.

I guess that I get what you're saying and if he was rude or just inconsiderate in other areas i probably would be annoyed but he genuinely believes that's my name. It's hard to explain but it's just not something I could get annoyed with him about. One of my pilates calls me Eva and to be honest that nearly annoys me more!
