I just wrote a letter to a dear high school teacher who wrote me in reply to an email I sent her awhile ago. I wrote this, and it is so very true. I don't even know how I'm alive. This proves that the concept of deserving things is a fallacy

you are beautiful. i've been wanting to listen to classical music like crazy lately. i like having a job that takes up so much of my usual reflection time, because that always makes me really sad.

thank you. so are you. You know what we should do sometime? Get together and not talk or anything, just sit or lie quietly with each other and listen to classical music. And when we were done, we could just sit or lie in silence and be comfortable.

I have a good impression of your job, but am less clear on exactly what it is ... ?

it's... a job. i actually have 2 jobs, but the one i was referring to (though my old job used to take up a lot more of my brain when i was new... and i stayed active there, too, which was nice) is a temp job for this month. it involves calling large corporations that use our computer product and asking them about their operating systems. i'm the very youngest person here and probably the poorest, so that's weird. but i get free things to drink all the time, and yeah... less time to think. which is freeing.
