how do you make one of those poll-y things? I need one. Well, for now, I'd like random suggestions for the following topic:

How should I cut and/or style my hair? (it's presently four inches long, shaggy, and unattractive.) Keep in mind that I am working as a barista and need my "face and head ... to be neat and well-groomed."

I'm lonely enough to be posting a reply to myself. I wish I had time to talk about what's going on with me cause there's a LOT and it's cool stuff! but since there's so much and it's so cool I don't have the time. SO I'm wasting my time posting replies to myself. and though i'm lonely enough to do that, I'm happier than I've been in a while. chipper, even. not quite sure why though. something to do with coffee? Perhaps. Something to do with feeling artistically inspired for the first time in forever? definitely. probably something also to do with actually being truly friendly to my roommate, making space in my head to let her in without stressing about what she thinks of me, which I think i was able to do because I got happy again, at least for this evening ...
It's interesting how vicious cycles are awful and, well, vicious, when they are spiralling down, but they can also be the-opposite-of-vicious spirals and just go up and up. I hope going to sleep doesn't kill the much needed upwards tilt and make it ribbon away

ee! I like you so much too! When you said that I thought to myself, well, that's what I've been trying to say to him since forever! It didn't occur to me (somehow that always happens) that it is fine to say it so simply. In a few months we WILL be neighbors, and many dances will follow! Perhaps one of these days Puck and I can come up on your day off. Which day is it?

hee! compliments are funny things. they are simple, really, but seem really complicated.

yay for dances and neighborness and yay!

my day off is saturday. but next week, i'll be visiting oly on friday and saturday, because this job will be done! woo!

janine turner is from "northern exposure" but she's also done commercials, and the person i was talking to said she lived with mikhail barishnikov for awhile, too. woot.

you ARE pretty! puck and i have mentioned the dazzlingness of it to each other before.

I agree with the above suggestion. I think it would look great on you. I'm sorry that you were feeling lonely, and happy about the happy stuff. I was all lonely and depressed the other night, so much that I was on the verge of tears. So I called my sister and had a long talk with her about everything going on in my life and I felt a billion times better like the weight of the world was taken off of my shoulders. She has a knack for knowing exactly what to say to pull me out of those depressed holes. Oddly enough I tried to call you first, but nobody answered...not sure why, but I think I just figured that you would understand... well that was a longer comment than I meant to leave... and I'm still waiting for my cookies...although it would be more fun to come and make cookies with you than to just be given cookies... mmmm cookies...ok, I'm done now.
