Hmmm, wikipedia labels them 'Spongmonkeys' and I was thinking of a different spelling altogether, but they are an underappreciated bit of advertising history.

Depends what you mean by "best" It was defiantly memorable, but I don't think that reanimated dead hamsters made anyone want to eat at Quiznos.
