I went over to Parrots Of The World today and Marc is fine. The window in the back is boarded up and the baby parrot area in the back is empty except for 2 tanks, which is sad. not to be mean about all the birds that DID get taken, but thank god harry and darwin are fine. that would make me feel so horrible.

so, they took mostly baby birds?

That's atll they took. When I asked how Harry and Darwin are and if they were taken his reply was, "Nah, they're too old!". hink maybe they took a young bird Mark was getting attached to. The last time I was there (with Dad) Mark was showing a young cockatoo to a woman. He was telling her how he'd been training the bird for the past year, but he was willing to sell it to her. Maybe it was that bird. I didn't ask. The phone was ringing off the hook while I was there and the store was pretty crowded so he didn't have time to sit around and chat with me, and anyway, I was asking him all the same shit everyone else was asking him. He's ok.
