Pagan Prompt: Paganism and Fertility

I led a ritual tonight that was dedicated to Freya, particularly to her warrior aspect. Even though we don't wield swords and shields in our daily lives, we do have our personal battles.

I regard fertility in the same way: focus on creativity. I am not child-free, but am past childbearing, and I am comfortable with the refocusing of ritual and belief to suit the lives we live now.

I love being a mother, but it is a choice - not an inevitability. I dislike most of Wicca because its emphasis on fertility and "femininity" and complementarian crap. i don't want that shit in my religion either!
