Are you me? I can agree with everything you said. Tyler was acting annoying lately, but I felt for him a lot this week and then everything got even worse..
I'm just not sure I want Bonnie calling out everything all the time (even though this episode it was perfect), because I fear it will be like it was back in Season 1 and early 2 when she kept acting all high and mighty towards Damon and later even Caroline and that's when I started hating her in the first place. Last week's and this week's Bonnie I actually like.
I also don't care for Elena or Damon lately. Let's not even start with their scenes and development together. Although I couldn't even say a whole lot of it since I've been fast forwarding through their scenes for the last 3 or 4 episodes. The only scenes with Damon that I watch are the ones he's with Stefan (or even Klaus, but that's just because I don't want to miss any of Klaus' plots

I think Bonnie catches a lot of flack for the way she treated Caroline last season, and I kind of agree with it because she wasn't being fair to her friend. But I NEVER get tired of her ragging on Damon. I loved season one Damon, but everything after that has been downhill. He totally deserves to have someone who's not afraid to call him on his shitty behaviour because other people *cough*Elena*cough*Stefan*cough*Alaric*cough* just to gloss over it in the end.
I want this Klaus and Caroline thing to happen, but in a deeply dark and twisted way. I loved the look of fear on Caroline's face when she saw that card with his name on it. And the utter confusion, the 'what the hell am I supposed to do with this?' expression on her face after she saw the gift was pitch perfect. PLEASE show, keep this coming slow and haunting like.
Damon needs to be called out more, I agree. What I meant was more the end of season 1 or the beginning of season 2 when all Bonnie did was being in a scene for five minutes to give Damon multiple aneurysms simply because he's there and is a vampire and therefore undeniably evil. I just thought it was incredibly annoying.
Yes, exactly. I hope it doesn't turn into Caroline-falls-for-the-misunderstood-badboy within 2 or three episodes. I really like Joseph Morgan's take on it tbh :)
I'm right there with you. JM's on the right track-and who knows? It might be a kick.
And so you know, I haven't forgotten the Caroline/Robb story. I just started a new job that's eating up my time. I think I'll just post the first half soon and then finish the rest later.
Oh, I get that, I do. I'm not doing any sort of comparison because this show is a minefield of bad decision making, and almost a celebration of it other times. The thing is, Caroline has done the compulsion thing and Bonnie has done the locking up thing-and that's why they can say it's wrong but not try and get up in arms about it and have horrific bitchfests about it. It speaks a lot to their friendship and their understanding of each other and their circumstances that they can disagree with it being the end of the world. Bonnie calling Elena on this is not like saying she's better than Elena, but pointing out that it's not right and Jeremy will hate her for it later

yaay I'm glad you enjoyed this week's episode after being as disappointed as you were with last week's!! :D
Let's have more Klaus and more Caroline in the future, please. If we have them together-all the better.
BASICALLY, I AM PREPARED TO SHIP IT LIKE BURING AND I WANT ALL THE FIC <333
&& I second you big time Re: Tyler :( I didn't really consider how hard all of this must be on him before this episode, but the poor guy wasn't kidding when he lamented how he's lose i>everything, was he?? :/
Granted, my shippy feelings for him and Caroline have evaporated (much like my shippy feelings for Damon/Elena lol D:), but I'd really like to see him find a way to overcome this essential slavery because I can't really think of anything more horrifying that losing control of your own mind and body (as a werewolf he'd lose them to the moon once a month, but now as a hybrid he's lost them to Klaus for good it seems, which is even more tragic IMO). ...
I have so many FEELINGS about Tyler, but sadly none about Forwood anymore. They killed it for me, right with that first episode. I just don't know why, but once they were together, I was like 'okay, so what?'
But this Klaus thing-it has the potential to be so awesome. I am half dreading to see where it goes, because the writers do have a tendency to be entirely awesome, or entirely convoluted in their story building.
