Dawn of the Dead wasn't the best movie, to be perfectly honest. I understand what Romero was trying to do with all the mall scenes, what with the parody of consumerism and such, but a lot of them could've been cut out or shortened. Ackh, sorry I misread the last sentence in your post.

I think there's just the one remake (2004). It's actually not too bad, very slick looking. Directed by the same guy who did '300' + a load of MTV videos.

ohhhhh, and Watchmen? Zack Snyder, isn't it? I might have to see that. Quality-wise, I think I like gritty zombies better. Braaaaaaaaaaains.
