I feel like I'm so much better at understanding literature now than I ever was in high school. I'd like to think it has something to do with the fact that I have more life experience, but who knows.

I've been reading A Time to Kill and as I find myself halfway through the book I wonder which book I should start to read next. If anyone has opinions

I haven't read A Time to Kill, but the movie is incredible...I would imagine the book would be just the same

Lol, I'm quite near the end and I was reading by my mom and she's like "that's such a depressing story." So of course I reprimanded her because she was the one who told me to read it and bought it from half-price for me. And she says she watched the movie which was great, but that the story is terrible (in that terrible depiction of humanity kind of way). I may have to watch the movie after reading this though.
