Ok, so while I am in the same boat as you (unemployed), I thought I'd respond. My comments are in reference to the list you had in the link

Thank you for the advice! I incorporated some color and changed my font to Optima (not that you care about specifics, but just felt like divulging that info). I also switched up my layout so things are a bit more concise meaning no cross-cultural section since I was able to fit that into either experience or education, and no additional work section. Mostly the additional employment was for work that's pretty self explanatory in its title (interviewer for the survey center) and that only lasted for 3 months so the job was pretty inconsequential.
