Well I had no idea. I had a feeling it would head this way eventually, especially when the PTB hooked him up with Chloe. Her romances don't last long. Hopefully the next chapter of his life will be filled with tons of success. *grin*

I only heard about it recently, but it has been talked about for a while. There really wasn't much to this "romance" anyways, the engagement was too quick, not enough "together" scenes, it just never really developed, except in the writers dreams. He went from a virgin to a cheating fiance in the matter of a few weeks. I only watched to catch John, not the storyline. They never explored Chance. He never became Chance, because of the writing. It was just John acting. He is still and will always be Coop to me.

I had already heard about this, but I still think it stinks. He never did seem to really mesh on the show though. I don't think the writers gave his character enough edge.

You're exactly right JJ. They only used one little piece of him and except for the police part of his story line the rest just seemed like filler. They just never gave him a fair shake. Perhaps they're trying to kill this show too.
