After today, I can now honestly say, I have seen it all on GL. Today, while wasting an hour of our time and spending a chunk of their budget (so many characters all in the same scenes), Ashlee Wolfe was actually dressed up at a pathetic excuse of a wedding, that by the way didn't go off, serving cheesepuffs. This post is made of win. I agree wholeheartedly with everything you said. Caitlin has been wasted on this show for months. The IIC have turned a brilliant actress into nothing more than a glorified potted plant. It is so distressing to know that actors(actresses) that have only some of her talent are being given story after story. (I will not name names on whom I believe that to be) Coop's storyline is weak. But like you said at least he has one. Why aren't we seeing Ashlee out there? If she has been "dating" why not have her on a date run into Coopth? This would be dramatic, angsty, and SOAPY! It would make sense, especially if Coop and Ashlee reacted.

The way the show is writing their stories is horrible. There is a Coopth article in SOD and never once did they mention Ashlee's past relationship with Coop. That is a huge slap in the face! *sigh* Not only because they just broke up, but because that is part of Coop's history. You know that thing the writers like to forget about. I would love to see Caitlin get a story, win an emmy ( ... )

No worries. This is a rant-free zone. Ranting is my favorite past-time. I can't even explain why I continue to watch (hope I guess), but when they pulled out the tray of cheesepuffs, that was the final straw. I just had to blow. It's nice to know I'm not alone on the bus. Thanks for the hugs. **hugs back**.

I couldn't agree with you more, Tracy. Sometimes I wonder why they don't just get rid of Ashlee. It's obvious they aren't going to use her for anything anymore and at least then Caitlin would be free to explore some other acting options.

I just don't understand why a character as popular as Ashlee doesn't get any screen time, meanwhile, characters like Grady that everyone hates are on all the freakin' time.

I've thought the same thing. Why keep her on to just fill a space? While I would certainly miss her..In the long run we would probably be seeing alot more of her on something else. She wouldn't sit idle for long, she's too talented. While we're not seeing any on GL, there are a few people out there with brains. Ironically, the majority of them are my LJ friends *grin*. **hugs**
