Self-Raising Flour

On my way to work, I went to Tesco, and I bought ten 1.5Kg bags of self-raising flour. Tesco only had 9 bags of the one-up-from-'value'-but-not-as-posh-as-branded range, so I took them all, and one from a branded range. for my own personal consumption.

I have this fantastic image of you spending the entire weekend sat on a park bench dipping your hand in bags of self raising flour and eating it, grinning with every sign of contentment and gradually getting more and more caked in it. Please do this - even if you replace the flour with a more palatable substitute.

Um... what IS the flour for?

I'm a catering assistant at a local National Trust property, and we do all our own baking. However, the week's delivery of self-raising flour wasn't coming for some reason, so they asked me to buy ten bags of it at the supermarket and bring 'em in!

Oh noes! It is a long way for you to come, don't worry! I shall probably go anyway, although it is lonely going to gigs on your own. Especially when I don't exactly look gothic! I may ask Eleanor if she wants to come see them.
