Cankle! (aka Mozzies Bit My Ankle!)

I was foolishly outside in the garden for much of Toast's housewarming party, and got my legs bitten. Bloody mosquitoes got my left ankle three times, and now, two days later, it is looking like a strange balloon. It is full of fluid, and movement, including walking, is very painful. I am writing this while lying flat on my back, legs up against

You're not the ony one this happened to, apparently eateroftoast's had has swollen up to balloon-like proportions.

I've got a bit on my left hand, but am thankfully otherwise unbitten. I TCP'd it, and it hasn't swollen.

*big hugs* If you've got some antihistimene cream, that migth work?

My other bites haven't swollen up, just those three. I didn't have any antihistamine cream, but I took a hayfever (antihistamine) tablet in case that helps!

I wonder if anyone else had that kind of reaction. My bite is still slightly swollen, but only just around where I was bitten. I hope your leg is better by work tomorrow.

I have been bitten by that type of mozzie many times, icluding a couple of weeks back, but seem to have largely gotten away with it this time!
