I was thinking about the episodes from the Poll I just made and I had a thought- Wouldn't it have been a nice callback if Martha had shown up in Hostage to surprise Clark for his birthday? Of course, I know she was there for all the Red Queen/Checkmate stuff, but it would have seemed less random, in my opinion. Clark's birthday was celebrated in

The SV PTB probably don't even remember that they've done Clark's birthday during the 21st episodes in the past. Oh well...

Oh, that would have been PERFECT. I miss the birthday episodes. (Now that I think about it, have we ever had a birthday episode for Lois?)

I think both Lois and Tess have never had birthday mentions (that I remember). Oliver's birthday got a shout-out during Roulette.
