Greenlake's Blowing Up

It was a wonderful 70 degree Seattle day yesterday. The last day of Spring in fact. I didn't feel like driving all the way down to the coast to go surfing, but it was so nice out, I wanted to get in the water. I only live about 5 blocks from Greenlake, so I walked down there with my surfboard and paddled around a bit. On the way there a guy ( Read more... )

Hey ho cherrio! Apparently my mother thinks that North America is too far and has opted for us to go to Europe instead. Booooo! I was really looking forward to chilling out in Seattle too!

That does suck. Too far? Maybe you should politely show your mom a map. Isn't N.America closer than Europe to Japan?

North America is definitely much further away than Europe from SINGAPORE. Where my mother lives.

That sounds idyllic. Way to not be afraid to break out of the mold. Glad someone was evolved enough to recognize you on your ingenuity. I'm impressed and a little jealous. I could take my snowboard out on the Delaware River... but I fear the experience would be lacking.
