This last Friday was part 3 of the MIDNIGHT MOVIES series hosted by moroccomole and this time BARBARELLA taught us the value of a good working vocabulary:
i can't beleive they are playing THE LONELY LADY. I wish I could go.
One of my favorite moments is at the beginning when Pia is on the red carpret for the awards presentation ceremony and someone says, "Who is that?" and this tall woman replied, "Must not be nobody if she don't have a date!"
i forget the name but there was a doc about ron jeremy that showed him way back in the 70s when his then-girlfriend sent naked pics of him into some magazine. and he wasn't not-hot then. guido-ish, yes, but still kind of 70s hot. then it all changed.
Okay I will have to check it out. This must have been WAY back. The big-wigs in the straight porn industry obviously didn't have standards or requirements for their actors. Well, anything is possible.
Who was it that said that porn guys had to be as ugly as possible, so that the straight male would never ever be threatened by the possibility of being attracted to the guy as well as (or instead of) the girl...
The way that people talk about this movie, I am a little embarrassed that I haven't seen it up to this point. I am sure it's going to rock!
That Dusty cd IS awesome. She recorded another one in 95 as well but the name escapes me. Included is a duet with Darryl Hall. It's not my favorite; it sounds like the music on a late night song dedications radio program.
