Congratulations on your technological leap!! I had resisted like you until I made the jump to cable modem. What a joyous experience!! I've been on vacation at my Moms for the last 4 days only able to access the internet via dial-up instead of my precious cable. How awful it's been. Tomorrow, I'll be back in Phoenix and back to the real world, as fun as that will be.
