Fur skeeves me out more than leather for some reason. Not sure why.

because leather is more common and the animals used for leather are likely being eaten, whereas fur animals are killed strictly for fur because who the fuck eats minks?

That's a very good point. Also when people wear fur I picture the animal so much easier. It seems like the animal is on them (they are wearing a mink) if that makes sense.

It's not a moral thing, more sensory...ok new fur does freak me out a little, it seems unnecessary, but old fur...those animals were dead a long time ago. Doesn't freak me out as much, for some reason. Vintage leather, I just don't like the feel of. New leather I love.

Fake fur, I just find it tacky, and pleather is my arch enemy I hate it. I had pleather pants once they were so awful. lol.

=)

see, i find it the other way around. new leather freaks me out, but vintage leather is all worn and lived in and whatnot.

i love how random you are. =p

fur? nope. it always reminds me of ace ventura, though and that makes me lmfao
vintage fur? still nope. i'm sure it's warm as all hell (literally) but it's just too creepy.
fake fur? still kinda creepy, plus it falls out i hear.
leather? it's okay...not my style.
vintage leather? nice to look at and smell and touch, but again it won't look good on me
pleather? dear lord no.

Anything vintage is beautiful and historical and acceptable.

As for newer stuff, I think any fur or leather from an animal that died on its own is ok. Otherwise I think it's a bit redunk, what with the modern miracle of indoor heating.

Except for minks. Minks are nasty, worthless creatures that eat their own young.

50 years ago women took the time and effort to dress like they gave a shit, and designers met this call appropriately. The half of my mother's family with money all dressed like it (Jews in furs and diamonds, who'd think it?), and the photos are all so glamorous! There's nothing like that kind of style these days.

Oops I missed pleather and fake fur. I have yet to see pleather that doesn't look plastic. I love fake fur but youi can't clean it.

Sorry I'm not looking at the kind of fabric while I'm ripping it off with my teeth.
