Yep, I do think it's rude. Giving unsolicited, possibly unwelcome, advice about someone's personal grooming/cosmetic habits seems like it would make the person feel embarrassed or defensive rather than grateful. & I generally try to avoid saying things that might make people feel bad about themselves, unless they asked specifically asked for my opinion. :/

If I really had to say something I'd try to make it very tactful and gentle, like "Lady, you have such a pretty natural brow line! I bet your brows would look absolutely gorgeous if you did this with them."

yeah, i suppose there's no real nice way to go about telling someone that. it's just that i always look at people's eyebrows and i just think they can make or break a face and there are a lot of people who would just look that much better if they did certain things to their eyebrows. but i can see how my unsolicited advice would be considered an insult. even though i do have the best intentions. :(

food in teeth is usually an accident, someone who has groomed their eyebrows the same way for years is by choice. so yeah, it's probably rude.

Someone had to tell me that when I was 16 or so, and while I almost kicked her ass, I REALLY appreciated it later on
