Month goal

It's early on June 1st and I've been on vacation for a week and spending more time interacting with people than usual. I've been somewhat amazed by the balls of many people... I.e. I've been actually impressed by the thoughtless, rude, or just amazingly selfish and bitch moves people will do and I am resolving to do something about it.

Like the red pen, somebody got the idea that it was bad to see who was fastest, slowest, and in between. And in middle school, every student got to be "student of the month" so it doesn't mean a thing.

that this is especially true in the millenia generation 11 - 29 year olds. they think they are special because all their life they have been given awards for participation, so everyone earns a prize. there are positives about them, too, but this is the biggest impact to the workplace is addition to the fact that they wont work overtime. what will the next generation be like?

we walked uphill both ways - but yeah, I know what you mean. I'm definitely one of those you work till it gets fixed/done type of people, but I'm trying to become one of those won't work overtime people any more since it doesn't appear to be rewarded.
