I've been pretty obsessed with The Expanse, which has been by far such an epic space opera that is similar to BSG. The fourth season premiered in December on Amazon and it was absolutely amazing, I cannot wait for the fifth season. I've also loved The Mandalorian, which is saying a lot because I'm very casual when it comes to anything Star Wars but somehow this show drew me in completely.
Last year I watched Euphoria, which is quite a heavy show that admittedly might not be for everyone but it has some damn good performances and it's production value is through the roof. Also Doom Patrol, perhaps one of the only recent DC shows that I actually enjoy

Ooh, The Expanse! Katie and I watched the first episode and weren't thrilled with it, but I've wanted to give it another try since then. I should really give it a try especially since I do have Amazon Prime. And it's interesting that you say that you liked The Mandalorian - I didn't give it a try because I figured it was for hard-core fans, but if you still enjoyed it maybe not

I was hooked onto The Expanse immediately, though I can understand why it wouldn't grip some people instantly by the first episode alone. I love the first season, but admittedly it is rather slow. It's intentional though, it's a slow-burn to build the characters and world and unraveling the mystery, but once that ball starts going things get crazier and more exciting with each reveal. Regardless though, it's honestly the best scifi show I've seen on this epic scale since BSG, and that is saying something. It makes me happy that Amazon saved the show from cancellation, and hopefully the entire book series will be adapted. :)

It does have some Easter eggs and references for hardcore fans, or just fans of the other works of the SW universe (i.e. the

I watched The Crown once I heard that in the third season there was an episode taking place in Aberystwyth. There was! It was good! Better than the reality, to be honest, but there was a lot of Welsh in it and that was nice. While the cast change took a little getting used to, I like Tobias Menzies' Prince Philip SOOO much more than Matt Smith's. (The first two seasons were a weird crash course in 'how would it feel to want to punch Matt Smith in the face'.)
I did watch the Witcher as well. It took half the season to get going, and then it was fun, but I don't think I care about it enough to get into a fandom.
I've started watching Picard, though, and it is very good!
