This one brought in a LOT of epic flailage, I have to admit I wasn't expecting everyone to get so crazy excited and into it. It will be interesting trying to summarise it, but here goes.

Just so you know, I was really sulking about not winning... yes yes I know it's random selection but I really really really wanted that Shige photo... It was perfect! I love the look in his eyes and the furrow in his forehead.... I wanted it soooooooo badly... and to be honest, it was my motivation for entering.

Then I come over here to sulk some more and then wow! Shige is in apron cooking :-) and suddenly I'm not so sulky anymore >.< I really love men in the kitchen.. love men who like to cook and who don't mind cooking... and I love Shige even more because he's left handed... I don't know but it's a HUGE fetish for me

hahaha no no don't worry, I tend to talk too much too XD It's makes me happy to not be the only one.

To be honest..... If I didn't already have the competition photo, I would have sulked too, or maybe become a hated person and not send it. It really is a gorgeous photo of him!! Other people have said he looks kinda funny in it, or his expression does, but no no I think it's perfect. It's like a mildly troubled look, as if he has something on his mind that he can't quite figure out the answer to. He doesn't look sad, just troubled *sigh* I have a scan of it but it's not the best, I can try and re-scan it for you if you like (well it wouldn't technically be "re-scanning" because it will be of my copy haha)

OMG your flail post!!!! all of it!! VALID!!!!! You know I kind of have a thing for left handed-ness too, even though watching someone use their left hand sends my brain into a spin. Maybe it's just for the same reason that Shige loves being left handed haha, because it's uncommon and because it makes him all the more elite :P

he's the humble type of elite yes. I do agree with everything you said (as always)!! It's his intelligence and his way with words that makes him seem that way I think. He always talks about having a brain that's more mature then his peers of the same age group, and I think that tends to bring it on. It's another of the things I can relate well to him with. I always tended to be a little bit ahead of my peers in ways of thinking.... I mean a 14 year old girl with common sense?!?!?! it's unheard of!!! And even in primary school I was teased for being "miss perfect" simply because..... one... I was intelligent... two... teachers loved me because I actually followed rules (because I understood the need for them), and three.. because I tended not to play with the other kids all that often because they just didn't understand me. So I was kind of labelled with the 'elite' tag myself. I love his maturity of thought!! And the best part is that he isn't cursed like me in being unable to express his thoughts but is also is brilliant at that

Yes yes Shige has a law degree too, and studies english (which you can tell when he actually uses english words). And and and, I'm sure he'll pick up more and more talents and hobbies. He's just so *sigh*

Don't let the size of maru's hands shatter your dreams. it's not about the size, it's about the shape and proportions!! I learned this as a kid, cause i was always told i have long fingers, so I went to compare my hands to all the other kid's and they weren't any larger *sadface* I just had a smaller palm. PROPROTIONS!!! Maru still have DIVINE hands!!!

OMG!!! why DIDN'T anyone mention guchi tap dancing!!!!! lol you starting because of him is really cute ^^
