Best moment of 2012: NEWS crying while singing Full Swing
Flail about it: It's true that it made me really happy to know that NEWS was going to do a tour as 4 member NEWS, but when I heard a fanaudio of them singing Full Swing, I realized how much I had missed them and that I'm very happy for being able to hear them again. They were crying and I began crying too, I couldn't help it. Everytime I hear that song I can't help crying again. For me that's a precious memory that I will never forget =)

Oh my, oh my, oh my...... That song is just... even thinking about it right now is making me feel all emotional. I was actually at the concert..... SO MANY TEARS!!! I cried so hard when the left the stage after, I held it together most of the song enough to still see through my watery eyes but after was just GONE!! I can never listen to the song without feeling all those same emotions again!!
And then I had a huge change at work a couplf of months ago which turned my life a little bit uspide down at the time, listening to that song, thinking to that moment and thinking to the strength that is NEWS carrying on, I gained so much courage!!

I'm so glad someone mentioned Full Swing. I really am. Thank you for your entry ^^

Best moment of 2012: Mingling with co-fangirls in my country
Flail about it: I was naturally an introvert when I was still in high school. I usually don't talk to people whom I've never known personally. Even in my first periods as fangirls, I rarely talk to my co-fangirls. I was always one of those silent ones who just reads and agrees in anything. But this 2012, I built up my self confidence and attended fan gatherings and meet ups to mingle with my co-fangirls, and there, I met my closest friends in fandom and those whom I flail with the most. I could say that being a fangirl is not only always about being updated or flailing with your biases, but also making friends with the same interest that you could cherish for life..=))

I aree with you completely!!! I have also made so many friends though this fandom, and all of them are irreplaceable. Our shared interests make us closer ^_^
I'm glad you wracked up the courage to go meet people, it must have been amazing fun!!

It's nice to see you have discovered your fangirl pride XD and don't feel weird about it, I think it's wonderful to be so passionate about something that you become emotionally invested in it. I'm 24 but have fully accepted my flailing ways haha, have embraced it. It is the most fun I have had in all my life, being part of this fandom.

Hahaha I was still proud to say it even when I was a blubbering mess over the fan report of the Pi/NEWS hugs and then the picture!!!

This whole year was exciting ne. So much NEWS and ex-NEWS activities and fun and encouragement. And through it all NEWS are the closest to their fans, to us all, it makes the distance seem so much less.

I heard about the hug only once, so I didn't know if it had happened or what until I saw the picture yesterday. But now that you mentioned fan reports I realized I hadn't read any! So I went looking for some and now I can't get the smile out of my face!!! (and a couple of tears =) )
How can they be such a nice fluffy ball of adorableness!?!? (If that's even a thing...)

Hope you are enjoying living in Japan! I think I would be 24/7 walking around random streets trying to run into any johnny lol
