On a similar topic to the post I made the other day. I asked already if people had stores they recomended for laptops now I was wondering if anybody has any recomendations for brands *waits for Nick to yell mac*..... as most of my preferences are probably biased

Seriously, Mac. But wait a bit unless you buy online - the MacBook line was just upgraded, so anything on the shelves locally is an old model.

I actually am kinda tempted by the macs but my problem is that they seem to become exponentially more expensive depending on screen size. I want a 15" screen as I find any smaller is just too damn small for what I do. All the models I've seen that have a screen that big in macs are 2100$-3000$, not quite my price range.

I have a big bag of cynasism on the hp/compaq brands. While i know all the good things about them I spent a year dealing with peoples complaints so I just can't trust them.
