I just found out from my last remaining housemate that the water department came by today saying that this house owes 900 bucks in water bills and that if we don't pony up, service will be cut off day after tomorrow

And yeah, there's something very funny going on with this lady. I know she enjoys going around to garage sales and buying the entire load--tacky placemat settings, Yanni records and all--only to stuff it into her storage unit for some epic garage sale that has yet to take place. But I have a hard time imagining that that eats up thousands of dollars. I'll probably hear about the real story like ten years from now.
