I basically paid zero estimated taxes, because I chose the option to make the estimated tax payments equal to the actual taxes owed from last year. As I was still a student last year, I really wasn't making any money.
However, now I'm working full-time -- as such, my taxes owed are significantly higher than those due last year. Hence, the $666 owed.
Ah yes, that would do it! In that case it sounds like you made out okay. I still hate tax season, but this year not as much since I know we overpaid. Next year won't be as fun.

We are getting just over $700 back for 2005, so at least you know where your money is going... *grin*
