haha yeah.. i just replied to Robin saying as much. i think the main thing is that the guy isn't supposed to see the girl on the day of the ceremony before things go down. anyway, i'm actually really glad i had him come cause i liked getting his input. there was one dress i really liked at the time i tried it on & he thought it was too busy-looking. later when i saw a pic of myself in the dress, i realized he was totally right. at least i wont have to wonder if he'll like it whatever.
yeah i dont care that he saw the dress. i'm so glad i had him come cause he told me that he didnt really like one of the dresses i was thinking of - it had some ruching (sp??) going on in different directions in the front and he thought it was too busy-looking. at the time i liked the way it felt on me but afterwards when i saw pics of me wearing it, i totally agreed. at least now i'll know that he'll like the way i look. i'd hate to, like, wonder if he'll like the dress on that day.
& as for the dress... i originally wanted something slinkier without much of a skirt. i tried to keep an open mind though & thought the bottom part on the one i decided on was as far as i'd go... haha. the lady @ the store originally had me try on this slip thing with it that made the bottom part much bigger.. it looked like a tutu.. haha. one of my HS friends got married and wore a Cinderella-type dress with a big huge skirt, which i think would look silly on me. whatevs, i'm just glad i'm done with it honestly.
Don't worry, I didn't have the angels singing moment, either, and Marc definitely saw it before the wedding.
Also - I saw your note about the slip. I ended up getting a relatively thin one that just held the dress up off my legs so I didn't trip all over myself. Didn't add too much poof, just more comfort/stability.
