I miss you! I kept thinking about you today because my campers are the age that we were when we met, and I keep thinking, were we ever that young?

Oh man... craziness! Alex is going traveling to Munich (staying with a friend for four nights) and then meeting her family in Greece for a kayak trippy thing around the Greek islands! It's excitingness! :-)

I've been having similar thoughts re: us being young and Tamora Pierce... reading Alanna again totally reminded me of who I was as an 11 year old... like the moment Jon steps in and saves Alanna from the Tusaine dudes with "Perhaps my sword will pierce it then?" it's so silly but when I read that I just remembered how giddy I was when I first read it... or when he puts his arm around her and says "At least we can be scared together"... eeeeeee! And when she finally pins Duke Roger and kills him and reveals herself... Ok I'm done.

B'lieve I told you that you'd look good in black years ago. Seem to recall you were my ASM at the time. All my ASMs look good in black.

That must be attributed to your ability to choose ASMs who make good techies. Or you like girls who look good in black. Which would not surprise me.
