so i'm on passover vacation, and i've finally had the chance to go through my pile of overlooked photos from old "rolls." in between cropping and straightening these out, i've developed a nasty addiction to sim city 4.

It's the light on the soldiers, and the focus, that makes it look like one of those painted ww2-era "support our troops: buy camels" ads. Which is cool.

The night shot of the old city is really moody in a way that makes me think of "Foucault's Pendulum".
