So the Wiki kind of sucks so I'll just give a bit more of a summary here. The canon itself is based off of William Shakespeare's famous romantic tragedy, Romeo and Juliet. While the basic premise is the same with the two feuding houses of the Montagues and Capulets, this adaptation much, much different in terms of setting as well as how the characters are involved. For instance, it's set on a floating piece of land called Neo Vorona and is held up by a magic tree called Escalus. And the Duke of Montague killed off the House of Capulet except for Juliet, who managed to escape and was raised so that they could rise against them for the sake of the people. Of course, like the play, she meets Romeo and they have a secret love affair. Oh and they also flying horses that are like the pegasus, only they are called Dragon Steeds. Yeah, it's great.
As for Tybalt, he was initially introduced as a mysterious warrior with the most awesome intro ever and helping Juliet and company escape from some Montague henchies. He also later finds Juliet to test her resolve to bring down the Montagues. Why he does this is because he has a personal hatred against the Montagues.

As further evidence of Tybalt's not so close ties with his foster father, he later even threatens to kill Camilo for being a rat when Juliet, Francisco, and Curio arrive at the mansion.
Tybalt explains to Juliet Leontes' past and how his own personal ambitions was what drove him to do whatever it took to become the next Grand Duke of Montague, including poisoning their own heirs to rise to the top. However, though he still wants to kill Leontes, he later learns about Juliet and her role as a daughter of Capulet. Though he did not know much about it, Tybalt did understand that Juliet would basically have to sacrifice her life in order to save Neo Vorona-and that she had the resolve to do it. Thus, when he gets his chance to confront Leontes and take him down, instead of killing him, he demands to know if there is another way to save Juliet so that she did not have to sacrifice her life. Of course Leontes doesn't really know, but it stalls time long enough for Romeo to appear and also try to his stand against him. Then it all becomes a party once Juliet and company enter, having successfully taken the keep without any confrontation. Still, no answers were to be had since Mercutio ends up killing Leontes by stabbing him with a poisoned dagger. This of course frustrates everyone, who wanted to resolve this peacefully, but Tybalt even moreso. Out of everyone in that room, only he and Juliet knew of her fate, and Tybalt is the one who basically drives Mercutio off, stating that he wasn't worth to kill.
As everyone withdraws to prepare for Juliet's coronation, Tybalt later finds Romeo to tell him that he was the son of Leontes and basically implies that they were half-brothers by that fact. After hearing Romeo's plans of returning to the countryside to help farm the land so that Juliet could just to being the new Duke (Duchess), and after Romeo's request for Tybalt to visit some kids and give them a ride on his Dragon Steed, Tybalt confronts him. He asks Romeo why he cares so much for strangers and why not about himself and Juliet as well as just himself. In away, he was throwing his confusion and frustration about Juliet on Romeo since he was basically doing the same thing. Tybalt then tells Romeo about Escalus and what Juliet plans to do. At this point, Neo Vorona starts to shake, indicating it's descent down-though no one knew at the time what was happening. He then tells Romeo that while he doesn't know another way, he was the only one who would be able to stop Juliet. The two then make their way down, though Tybalt is separated and urges Romeo on.
By the time Tybalt later reappears on his Dragon Steed to help, Juliet was already taken in by Escalus and crazy tree goddess is being, well, crazy while Romeo tries to get to Juliet. So along with Francisco and Curio, the three of them fight together to try and basically distract the crazy tree goddess while Romeo tries to reach Juliet. Eventually all three fall, and by the time they recover, the tragedy occurs. In their downtime, although Romeo had saved Juliet from being consumed by Escalus, crazy tree goddess gave one final attack. Romeo killed her, but she also inflicted a fatal blow. They could only watch as the couple had their final moment together. Tybalt tells Juliet that she should leave, but she refuses, saying that she could still save Neo Vorona with the remaining seeds of Escalus that was still within her. So they leave her and witness what could be considered a miracle. Juliet used her life force that grant the power that slowed Neo Vorona's descent so that they could land on the surface below. That was when everyone realized they had been living on a floating island.
At the end, Tybalt is shown granting the favor Romeo had asked him earlier: giving those two kids a ride on a Dragon Steed. However, instead of using his own, Tybalt had found Romeo's Dragon Steed to ride on. He also tells them that the Dragon Steed was not his, but his little brother's-indicating his own personal acknowledgement of his familial ties with Romeo. And thus it could be assumed that Tybalt, like everyone else, lived on and moved forward with his life.

Tybalt can be summed up like this: a badass, hot, dark mysterious loner assassin with a grudge so bad and deep he's out for a bloody revenge and will do whatever it takes to do it, but then discovers that there is more to his life than just "revenge" and begins to leave his past to move forward.
He is very much the poster child for the anti-social, "brooding" lone wolf cool type side character. He dresses in black, hardly ever smiles unless it's a smirk, and does things his own way. He keeps to himself and doesn't necessarily "open up" or let his "touchy feely" side show much, either. A serious, no-nonsense type of guy. However, he is not necessarily the "silent" type. While he isn't exactly social, he has no problems socializing or talking with others in general. He also has no problems speaking his mind when something is clearly wrong or does not make sense. He is quick to reprimand as well bring people back down to reality. For instance, if someone is dwelling on a problem or at a loss of what to do, Tybalt will direct them in the most logical or practical path depending on the situation. There is also a bit of arrogance and a lot of self-confidence in Tybalt. As mentioned before, he does have a some sense of humor, though it's usually more snark and wit than comedic jokes. But for the most part, Tybalt is essentially like the mature, older brother type.

Instead, he associates himself more with the dark, shadowy underworld of spies, rogues, and poor. Tybalt carries a lot of his negative emotions and the past that formed those emotions with him, and its these very same emotions that drives him to do what he does. Of course, by the time he is taken out, a lot of that initial drive has diminished, but it's still there. This also includes that strong will of determination and doing whatever it takes to achieve his goals. Tybalt is certainly not a quitter, which also cues in a strong sense of passion that one might not see at a first glance due to him hiding his emotions. He does not mind getting his hands dirty, either by bribing or killing, to get where he needs to go, and in a way that is actually very similar to the father he hates so much. But regardless, he has the tenacity and the will to do what he believes is right. This also shows Tybalt's deep loyalty for not only his family, but for those who would become his friends as well. He will protect them and fight for them, even after they are dead. Again, he is following his own passions and beliefs in doing so.
This also means that Tybalt can be caught up in the heat of the moment and his emotions may flow out more than they normally would. This really only happens when it's anything Montague related or about his own past. This would also be one of the rare times that Tybalt would lose his otherwise normally calm demeanor and may act out more rashly. However, he is also quick to calm himself down and get back on track on what needs to be done. Other than the family issues, not much else really gets to him, so he can handle other situations very well. Even if he is angry, he can still act in a very tight, controlled manner that is probably even scarier than if he just outright yelled in anger. This is when Tybalt can be at his most ruthless and deadliest. He also does not care or regret about anyone he kills. In his mind they were either enemies or needed to be killed. However, that does not mean he just kills anyone who crosses him. Usually it is only those who have done injustice and thus deserved it. But though he has good reasons, the fact that he does it in such a cold, detached fashion can be unsettling and make Tybalt seem even more ruthless.
Of course, this has softened a bit. After meeting Juliet, Tybalt came to care less about his own goals and worried more about others. As mentioned in the history, instead of killing Leontes, he actually demanded to know if there was another way to save Escalus. Tybalt could have easily killed him but did not. This signifies that Tybalt, though can be quite passionately driven, can also set aside his own personal ambitions when he sees that something more important-like the life of a friend-is at stake. He will then turn all his efforts to that situation instead with the same amount of passion if not more. He is also capable of showing compassion. When Juliet cried over being unable to kill the priest, Tybalt actually, though tentatively, hugged her to comfort her. This was of course after point blank telling her that she currently did not have the resolve to really take down the Montagues, so this scene really showed that odd balance between Tybalt being his stern, blunt side as well as a more tender side. It doesn't show up that often, but it's there. He may have a colder, negative demeanor, but that doesn't necessarily making him cold-hearted per se.
The other way for him to show such emotions is by becoming frustrated and yelling at the person for basically being an idiot. This would be shown through Romeo when Tybalt questions why he doesn't stay with Juliet when they obviously love each other. He does not beat around the bush and drives at the heart of the problem. This also again shows how he can be somewhat easily frustrated or angered and act it out, even if it is in a more subdued manner.
The ultimate example of Tybalt being more of a "softie" is when he fulfills Romeo's promise and takes those two kids on a Dragon Steed ride. This is after Romeo's and Juliet's sacrifice, and at this point Tybalt is a little less stern and a little more gentler. But not by too much, it's not like he did complete 180. You could say that the hard shell he had formed around himself all his life has shed a few layers, allowing him to be a little more open. Through the couple, Tybalt learned how to love and to show a little more compassion. He had been living his past for so long, and now he can finally move forward to live his life in hopefully brighter future.
[Abilities]
Tybalt is an experienced and adept fighter. He wields two long daggers and uses both is strength and agility to his advantage. Despite his tall build, he is very fast and makes each of his strikes count. He also uses stealth and can usually get by without being noticed. You could say he was like a ninja assassin. Tybalt is also an excellent knife thrower, capable of throwing two at once and pretty much hitting dead center. He is also an experienced rider of horses and Dragon Steeds (pegasus) alike, and can even fight while riding. Tybalt is also very smart, utilizing what he learns to figure things out fairly quickly. He also knows how to use and read people.

...If I used this device correctly, it should be on. I have already read the information in this...Dreamberry-[he frowns as he says this. Dreamberry? really?]-so I am aware that this is some kind of dream world. Therefore I do not need any unnecessary repetition. However, I will listen to anything else that could be of use to me. [small pause.] I do have one specific question.
[there's a moment as he pauses before it's clear that he is moving forward until he stops.]
It appears that I am on a piece of land flying in the sky. [he seems more calm about this than one might expect, and as if to prove his point, he holds the Dreamberry out so that the video reveals the edge of the floating mountain and the city below.] Neo Vorona was once like this, but it was because of the powers of a goddess called Escalus. Is this the same here?
[nope. not a question of how to get down. just how it's floating. but as he asks, that serious expression grew a little colder.]

After disconnecting the feed-or so he assumed since that was what the instructions said-Tybalt stared at the strange device in his hands. It was nothing like he had ever seen before, and when he first woke up and discovered it in his pocket, it had taken him several minutes to even figure out what to do with it. Had it not turned on its own, he would have just left it, though it had taken him even longer to even figure out how to work. Most of it had been through trial and error (and a little luck), and he had spent that past half hour prior to his broadcast reading and studying it.
Somarium. A world of dreams. A concept more suited for a fairy tale.
Turning away from the edge and walking forward, Tybalt pocketed the Dreamberry. Though he knew there was a city below him, he wanted to explore this floating piece of land first. It seemed rather small-much smaller than Neo Vorona at least-but it bothered him. If this really was powered by Escalus, was a similar fate awaiting this as well? Unlike in his world, they crashed into the ocean, not into another city. Should this piece of rock fall, many could be killed. The sacrifice that Juliet had made was still fresh. It had been sacrifice to protect the people both she and Romeo loved. As the memory flashed through his mind, his expression softened to something more somber, and he stopped for a moment of reflection.
It was in that moment that he was caught off guard and surprised by a soft bump against his back. Hands automatically reaching for the daggers behind him-grateful that they had appeared with him-he whirled around to find himself face to face not with some threat of danger but-
"...You? What are you doing here?" he asked in a soft voice, his hand reaching up to rest on the soft muzzle of his Dragon Steed, which only pressed against Tybalt's hand. He had released the winged horse-like creature to join his younger brother Romeo's in the wild. There were times when he would see the Dragon Steed flying, and the last time they had met was when he taken those kids out on a ride on Romeo's Dragon Steed to fulfill his promise. Thus it was no surprise to see that the creature did not have any of its old armor and tack on.
Oddly, Tybalt felt some sense of comfort seeing the Dragon Steed there. He would not have minded being in this strange new world alone, but the Dragon Steed was another reminder of the home where he belonged. After giving the creature a pat on the neck, Tybalt mounted him. Even without a bridle or saddle, he could ride the Dragon Steed with no problem, and it would make things easier. With just a slight nudge of his heels, the Dragon Steed moved forward, extended its wings, and flew into the air.
Circling around the land, Tybalt was better able to observe and get a real bird's-eye view of the place he knew he would be living in for some time. Descending closer to the city buildings, he stared at them with a slight frown. Tall buildings were nothing new to him, but the design and architecture was...well odd. Everything seemed so stiff and over simplified. Looking down to see the people below was also strange. Everyone dressed differently and behaving differently. Tybalt could see that it would take some time to adjust. Once he had decided what to do in terms of living arrangements, he would have to inquire more about this Somarium world.
The fact that there was some sort of enemy-somehow it was not all that surprising that it would involve nightmares-troubled him. He would rather know what exactly he should be expecting. Perhaps the sooner this conflict was over, the sooner he could return this own world. There was still much to be done in Neo Vorona, and he would rather not waste his time mired in some other world's troubles.
So when they passed over the village-why it was located in the very center of an industrial city, Tybalt did not understand-he signaled for his Dragon Steed to descend. It seemed more familiar to him, and experience taught him that commoners were more likely to talk than those in the more populated areas. Though he no longer harbored those feelings of hatred for the Montagues, it seemed that the skills he had developed for that purpose were going to be necessary even here.
When they landed, he ignored the gaping looks and stares as they walked through the streets and instead cast his eyes around to take note of everything. The name of every building, the faces of the people, every landmark. It was only until he passed by the tavern did he bring the Dragon Steed to a stop and dismounted. Again, he ignored any onlookers and just strode in. If there was one place to get information, it would certainly be here.

But that aside, Tybalt's been kind of in my head for the past...oh year or so and he would fit into my character spectrum nicely. He does not mind getting his hands dirty, either by bribing or killing, to get where he needs to go, and in a way that is actually very similar to the father he hates so much. But regardless, he has the tenacity and the will to do what he believes is right. This also shows Tybalt's deep loyalty for not only his family, but for those who would become his friends as well. He will protect them and fight for them, even after they are dead. Again, he is following his own passions and beliefs in doing so.
This also means that Tybalt can be caught up in the heat of the moment and his emotions may flow out more than they normally would. This really only happens when it's anything Montague related or about his own past. This would also be one of the rare times that Tybalt would lose his otherwise normally calm demeanor and may act out more rashly. However, he is also quick to calm himself down and get back on track on what needs to be done. Other than the family issues, not much else really gets to him, so he can handle other situations very well. Even if he is angry, he can still act in a very tight, controlled manner that is probably even scarier than if he just outright yelled in anger. This is when Tybalt can be at his most ruthless and deadliest. He also does not care or regret about anyone he kills. In his mind they were either enemies or needed to be killed. However, that does not mean he just kills anyone who crosses him. Usually it is only those who have done injustice and thus deserved it. But though he has good reasons, the fact that he does it in such a cold, detached fashion can be unsettling and make Tybalt seem even more ruthless.
Of course, this has softened a bit. After meeting Juliet, Tybalt came to care less about his own goals and worried more about others. As mentioned in the history, instead of killing Leontes, he actually demanded to know if there was another way to save Escalus. Tybalt could have easily killed him but did not. This signifies that Tybalt, though can be quite passionately driven, can also set aside his own personal ambitions when he sees that something more important-like the life of a friend-is at stake. He will then turn all his efforts to that situation instead with the same amount of passion if not more. He is also capable of showing compassion. When Juliet cried over being unable to kill the priest, Tybalt actually, though tentatively, hugged her to comfort her. This was of course after point blank telling her that she currently did not have the resolve to really take down the Montagues, so this scene really showed that odd balance between Tybalt being his stern, blunt side as well as a more tender side. It doesn't show up that often, but it's there. He may have a colder, negative demeanor, but that doesn't necessarily making him cold-hearted per se.
The other way for him to show such emotions is by becoming frustrated and yelling at the person for basically being an idiot. This would be shown through Romeo when Tybalt questions why he doesn't stay with Juliet when they obviously love each other. He does not beat around the bush and drives at the heart of the problem. This also again shows how he can be somewhat easily frustrated or angered and act it out, even if it is in a more subdued manner.
The ultimate example of Tybalt being more of a "softie" is when he fulfills Romeo's promise and takes those two kids on a Dragon Steed ride. This is after Romeo's and Juliet's sacrifice, and at this point Tybalt is a little less stern and a little more gentler. But not by too much, it's not like he did complete 180. You could say that the hard shell he had formed around himself all his life has shed a few layers, allowing him to be a little more open. Through the couple, Tybalt learned how to love and to show a little more compassion. He had been living his past for so long, and now he can finally move forward to live his life in hopefully brighter future.
[Abilities]
Tybalt is an experienced and adept fighter. He wields two long daggers and uses both is strength and agility to his advantage. Despite his tall build, he is very fast and makes each of his strikes count. He also uses stealth and can usually get by without being noticed. You could say he was like a ninja assassin. Tybalt is also an excellent knife thrower, capable of throwing two at once and pretty much hitting dead center. He is also an experienced rider of horses and Dragon Steeds (pegasus) alike, and can even fight while riding. Tybalt is also very smart, utilizing what he learns to figure things out fairly quickly. He also knows how to use and read people.

[the feed reveals Tybalt staring at the screen, eyes narrowed both in slight confusion and seriousness.]
...If I used this device correctly, it should be on. I have already read the information in this...Dreamberry-[he frowns as he says this. Dreamberry? really?]-so I am aware that this is some kind of dream world. Therefore I do not need any unnecessary repetition. However, I will listen to anything else that could be of use to me. [small pause.] I do have one specific question.
[there's a moment as he pauses before it's clear that he is moving forward until he stops.]
It appears that I am on a piece of land flying in the sky. [he seems more calm about this than one might expect, and as if to prove his point, he holds the Dreamberry out so that the video reveals the edge of the floating mountain and the city below.] Neo Vorona was once like this, but it was because of the powers of a goddess called Escalus. Is this the same here?
[nope. not a question of how to get down. just how it's floating. but as he asks, that serious expression grew a little colder.]
[Third Person]
After disconnecting the feed-or so he assumed since that was what the instructions said-Tybalt stared at the strange device in his hands. It was nothing like he had ever seen before, and when he first woke up and discovered it in his pocket, it had taken him several minutes to even figure out what to do with it. Had it not turned on its own, he would have just left it, though it had taken him even longer to even figure out how to work. Most of it had been through trial and error (and a little luck), and he had spent that past half hour prior to his broadcast reading and studying it.
Somarium. A world of dreams. A concept more suited for a fairy tale.
Turning away from the edge and walking forward, Tybalt pocketed the Dreamberry. Though he knew there was a city below him, he wanted to explore this floating piece of land first. It seemed rather small-much smaller than Neo Vorona at least-but it bothered him. If this really was powered by Escalus, was a similar fate awaiting this as well? Unlike in his world, they crashed into the ocean, not into another city. Should this piece of rock fall, many could be killed. The sacrifice that Juliet had made was still fresh. It had been sacrifice to protect the people both she and Romeo loved. As the memory flashed through his mind, his expression softened to something more somber, and he stopped for a moment of reflection.
It was in that moment that he was caught off guard and surprised by a soft bump against his back. Hands automatically reaching for the daggers behind him-grateful that they had appeared with him-he whirled around to find himself face to face not with some threat of danger but-
"...You? What are you doing here?" he asked in a soft voice, his hand reaching up to rest on the soft muzzle of his Dragon Steed, which only pressed against Tybalt's hand. He had released the winged horse-like creature to join his younger brother Romeo's in the wild. There were times when he would see the Dragon Steed flying, and the last time they had met was when he taken those kids out on a ride on Romeo's Dragon Steed to fulfill his promise. Thus it was no surprise to see that the creature did not have any of its old armor and tack on.
Oddly, Tybalt felt some sense of comfort seeing the Dragon Steed there. He would not have minded being in this strange new world alone, but the Dragon Steed was another reminder of the home where he belonged. After giving the creature a pat on the neck, Tybalt mounted him. Even without a bridle or saddle, he could ride the Dragon Steed with no problem, and it would make things easier. With just a slight nudge of his heels, the Dragon Steed moved forward, extended its wings, and flew into the air.
Circling around the land, Tybalt was better able to observe and get a real bird's-eye view of the place he knew he would be living in for some time. Descending closer to the city buildings, he stared at them with a slight frown. Tall buildings were nothing new to him, but the design and architecture was...well odd. Everything seemed so stiff and over simplified. Looking down to see the people below was also strange. Everyone dressed differently and behaving differently. Tybalt could see that it would take some time to adjust. Once he had decided what to do in terms of living arrangements, he would have to inquire more about this Somarium world.
The fact that there was some sort of enemy-somehow it was not all that surprising that it would involve nightmares-troubled him. He would rather know what exactly he should be expecting. Perhaps the sooner this conflict was over, the sooner he could return this own world. There was still much to be done in Neo Vorona, and he would rather not waste his time mired in some other world's troubles.
So when they passed over the village-why it was located in the very center of an industrial city, Tybalt did not understand-he signaled for his Dragon Steed to descend. It seemed more familiar to him, and experience taught him that commoners were more likely to talk than those in the more populated areas. Though he no longer harbored those feelings of hatred for the Montagues, it seemed that the skills he had developed for that purpose were going to be necessary even here.
When they landed, he ignored the gaping looks and stares as they walked through the streets and instead cast his eyes around to take note of everything. The name of every building, the faces of the people, every landmark. It was only until he passed by the tavern did he bring the Dragon Steed to a stop and dismounted. Again, he ignored any onlookers and just strode in. If there was one place to get information, it would certainly be here.
[Why do you want to play this character in Somarium?] I enabled myself through Nami. Yeah, I'm kind of amazed by it, too. But that aside, Tybalt's been kind of in my head for the past...oh year or so and he would fit into my character spectrum nicely. Serious, but not silent, and he could get involved in ways my other characters can't. And he's hot, okay. THERE. YOU HAVE THE REAL REASON. HE'S HOT.
