Pretty Weather = Happy Erika!

WOW, there is less than a month of school left! People are starting to count down the days on their profiles...the time ticking quickly by this semester/year scares me! I am so frightened and excited of the real world. So stressed and eager about these final days at Appalachian. The other day Kelly, Erin, and I went to dinner and talked about what ( Read more... )

We haven't talked in AGES and I hope we can catch up soon, I've just been busy this past week & a half and I know how the last month of ASU is, so you must be uberbusy too! Anyways, good luck with your first job application and with getting through your last months in Boone :)

Thanks...but even though I had Dr. Cooper look at my resume and I looked at it probably 199 times, I noticed after it had gone in the mail that I failed to close a parenthesis!!!! So that is really bad...I know Karen would throw it out, so this Brent person might too. Oh well, miss ya!!!

Send a second resume! milltenford April 8 2005, 05:36:47 UTC
Hey Erika, you should send a second resume with that parentesis fixed. Chances are they'll keep the newest version and throw away the old and they'll know that you are trying your best, which shows good character and a positive work ethic. In fact, if you enclose a brief letter that says you were sorry, but realized there was something you needed to correct from the previous version it may make you stick out in their minds as someone who is willing to admit when they are wrong and fix their mistakes promptly. That's a good thing to be remembered as. Good luck on your job hunt. Hope you don't mind my checking in and providing a word of advice. Do well in classes and pass quantitative methods! I'm praying for you guys up there! Adios amiga!
