Found this via a whole lot of flist-jumping looking for ToA fic- I just wanted to say I really loved this.

Jade's worry, his flail, his competence despite everything, his releif, and Peony getting it, and letting him hold on.

Did the other commenter ever write that sequel? I would love to see this idea further explored.
