Hey everyone! So as you may know, I got my copy of the Beautiful World con DVD in the mail on Wednesday. It was quite ironic because that was the day that I finally got enough free time to even WATCH the concert, so I was planning on going home and watching the one I had gotten earlier, but lo and behold, there the DVD was, sitting and waiting for

I feel the same way about Kokuritsu concert dvds. I much prefer dome cons because of all the interactions.

I'm still traumatized by Jun's solo performance. >.<;;

I'm waiting for my dvd to arrive to watch disc three~.

I agree with you that it wasn't the most "eventful" concert, but I enjoyed it all the same

Hehe, Jun's solo... I wasn't quite sure how to digest it, TBH. I cannot tell whether he's utterly trolling (the whole comic-book theme makes me think that maybe this was an elaborate joke) or if he really genuinely thinks this is sexy, quality performance. I decided for my own mental health that he must be trolling, it makes the performance fun XD

I'm with you on this not being my favorite concert by a long shot, but I've never NOT enjoyed an Arashi concert. It was a solid entry into their library of things and it has a hefty rewatch value (I love putting Arashi concerts on in the background when I'm doing Important Things), so I've got nothing to complain about :)

I have to say about the PV though, it was seriously meh for me. I don't even know if it's worth downloading after having seen it on youtube :/ it's good for screenshots, but that's about it for me.

Haha I agree with you on the solos... Although I must say that it hella bothered me when Aiba's nose was the main vocalist... I just wanted to pull his mic in front of his mouth to show some semblance that he was not lipsynching.... and actually, although am Aiba biased, my favorite perf would be Nino's. It was just sooo amazing and heartfelt and live. And Jun's solo... while I though he looked hella sexy thrusting his pelvis forward, the rest of the time, I had my hand on my mouth trying hard not to laugh because his costume is just soooo.... funny... I don't think I'll be able to take his sexy dancing seriously without him taking off those clothes... I mean, purple sparkly skin tight with a matching top that's only buttoned once? errrrr.....

Its funny about the solos... I think somewhat your opinion of how the live performance of how they went depends a bit on how you feel about the song in the first place... like how going to a movie expecting something huge and being disappointed can be worse than expecting nothing and having the movie be mediocre, y'know? For instance... I like Ohno's and Sho's solos a whole lot, yet I thought the performances didn't quite do the songs justice. Epsecially Sho's, cause I really REALLY like Kono Mama Motto, yet the performance seemed sub-par to me. And then for Jun's, I didn't really like the song to begin with (sorry Jun, even though you're my Ichiban!!), yet I actually thought he put a lot of heart and energy into his performance. Yes, i totally agree.. I HATED the outfit, hahaha. But I dont really hate when Jun does his sexy dance kind of thing... lolz. If he were wearing something better, it would be fine. As for Aiba, I think thats the main one I disagree with you on... I dont like the song a ton either, but I also was just "so
