Oh, sweet Saturday. I have two days off this weekend and I can't remember the last time I appreciated that this much. I've been working my ass off. And it's supposed to snow tomorrow and tomorrow night, 2 to 4 inches during the day and 4 to 8 more overnight. If it's gonna be this cold, it better snow!!! congrats on the potential full-time position! it sounds like a good place to be right now. and yeah... devoting an entire day to just work sucks, so hopefully you can drop the outback job to when it's convenient.

but hooray for days off! enjoy them, glitterbug.

oh sarah, you are BRILLIANT! you just gave me the bestest idea for dealing with my drafty cold window. i moved into the new room today and the downside (which is far outweighed by the upside: I HAVE MY OWN ROOM) is that there is no heater in this room. and i was cold in the room WITH the heater, so yes. i had been sitting here staring at the icky curtains that were up on the window here and i have two large tapestries that i had used to build a wall/fort separating my side of the shared room i woke up in this morning (whoa it all got done in a day, i'm amazed at myself) and i had nothing to do with them in this room. since they're both huge, folded over a few times and hung in the window helps insulate the window AND is prettier than the icky white curtains that were already here.

THANK YOU for the idea! :)
