It has a bit of a fitting and boning issue, I've been planning on bringing it up on one of the comms here, but I couldn't find it to pinoint the problem areas. Frustrating, but I'm happy to have found it.
Strange; I always remember your work as *never* having fitting and/or boning issues and always looking great.
I have two to make (only one will get done for this winter season, though) and I could wish you lived closer! I could use another pair of hands to help with lacing and marking the corrections for the fitting: I'm assuming it won't miraculously be spot-on the first draft, you know?
When, by the way, is the wedding the corset's for?
The wedding was in August. It was for my youngest sister on my mothers side, and she went out with some style. ;-) I made the gowns and foundations for the bridesmaids and the corset for the bride. I had an idea to wear the gown I wore to the wedding as a costume for Halloween but the gown is *unwearable* without the corset. I mean, I can close it, but just because you *can* doesn't mean you *should* if you catch my meaning.
I would be happy to help you, I wonder if a few photos might offer some direction? Photos are ridiculously helpful, because sometimes they tell you something after long examination that a personal fitting wouldn't have revealed due to time constraints.
I wanted to wear it for Halloween, since I last wore it in August for my sisters wedding. But the damn thing was missing, and I turned the regular places inside out hoping to find it.
My story is that my husband should have cleaned the garage much sooner, though understandably he's reluctant to admit it.
Eeh! But you know what they say about finding something you're hunting: you always find it in the last place you loo;, and it will turn up in the location you least expect it.

I hate it when I can't find something important to me. Drives me crazy.
I'm so glad your wedding corset has been found!
