I was a little nervous about spending halloween alone at home. I am not unsettled about anything in particular, but just have a nervous twitch attributed to a combination of the cold air, frozen ground, wandering around people wearing funny and scary costumes, and the occasional knocking on the door

I think you and your mom are right. It is all better now. It was just so painful! And, I've had blood taken many times before without it being that painful afterwards. Thank you for your investigation. And, tell your mom that I say Hi to her too!!!!
