Random thought a billion years after the fact:

Why write music? Try writing poetry. The beauty of poetry is that it can produce the same sensation of lyrics without the sound.

Of course, if your poetry sucks, then even music probably cannot save it. I don't think your poetry sucks so far, though. Still somehow silently musical.
