Moi Meme Moitie Skirt Review
Hello everyone! Today I just wanted to tell you all about a small problem with the Moi-Meme-Moitie High Waisted gather skirt shorter version in Navy that I had today u.u.
Explaination below cut:
Yesterday, in Shinjuku I purchased from the Moitie store this skirt for my birthday:
It is very lovely and high quality as expected from Moitie. However, when I got it home I was sort of shocked and sad to find that the organza, which I know is very difficult to serge, was ripped and fraying in three places. Also, the oraganza fabric where the zipper begins was also, for the lack of a better word, falling appart.

I was very sad by this and called the store and they were of course most helpful and have excellent customer service. As of now, I have to make another hour trek to Shinjuku to pick out one that is in better shape.
I am writing this because I know many people use CD Japan and order from overseas. If you plan to buy this skirt, I would suggest to ask cd Japan or Moitie to double check the organza seams at the top and bottom and the zipper seam otherwise, you may be quite shocked. I thought about my skirt being an isolated incident, however, it seems that this problem plagues this skirt.
However, this is the first occurence I had with rather poor serging quality, and I hope it does not start to become a trend. This occurence of course will not hinder me from buying from Moitie again, but I will be very cautious when I return to America to have CD Japan double check quality if they can!
