A Lolita Film
I'm a second year film student, and we have been producing 1 minute experimental films this semester. I thought I'd share :)

We had to write, direct and edit our own films. Our crew of six helped set build, camera operate, light, manage and all the other things that go on to make a film! I am really interested in cinematography and production design myself so this was a fun project (..worth 100% of my mark!) The music is original too, I found a guy named Gilberto Castillo to compose it for me! I don't know about my writing abilities but i was wondering "is this experimental enougghhhh..." for ages.. I ended up being the first one to have their film screened out of 36 people! I was so nervous, but I think I did okay.
It took us from 8am doing makeup (and finding out the actresses' hair refused to curl) and set building, shooting til almost 6pm in the uni's studio. A long hard day but well worth it. Lots of midnight edit parties in the labs ensued afterwards~!
