Fanplusfriend Review
I put in a slightly large order to Fanplusfriend back on May 13th. Before that, I'd only bought from Innocent World, and one or two things from Bodyline, so I was always used to getting top quality things. Plus, the price for F+F really isn't that much less expensive than IW, so I figured since it was custom made, I'd only suffer a little bit of a quality difference, but get a better fit. I have a friend that orders from them all the time and raves about them, so I figured it couldn't hurt to help bulk up my wardrobe. I don't want to make this sound like an all out negative review, but I was definitely wrong. Let start with an item break down.
Under garments:
Full Birdcage Steel Petticoat
I'd always wanted a steel boned hoop skirt, but i was always too lazy to make my own, even though I had the patterns and the skill. When I saw I could get this one custom made with real steel boning, I had to jump at the chance.

Just the hoopskirt, notice the boning is not cut as long as the channel, which causes gathering and an imperfect shape
With my Dear Celine Frothy Petticoat on top, it gives an extra bit of poof that makes a perfect shape, so I can't be completely unhappy with it. I just really wish they had cut the steel long enough to make the shape more sturdy.
Price: 4/5 - For how cheap it was in comparison to most hoopskirts, I can't be too harsh with my review
Quality: 3/5 - It's still not hard to properly measure steel boning - I've done it myself before
Fit: 5/5 - The waist is comfortable and the length is perfect

The fabric at the chest saddened me a lot. I can fix it easily, but I shouldn't have to in the first place.
Price: 3/5 - The lace looks cheap, the sewing is not anywhere near the quality I'm used to, and I have to alter it myself before I feel comfortable wearing it in public.
Quality: 3/5 - See above
Fit: 5/5 - With all the other gripes i have about it, the fit is actually amazing. The straps feel a bit wide, but everything else is perfect.
Tiered Flared Skirt
Some of my brand items are a bit shirt for me (I'm 5'8"), so I bought this to use as an underskirt.

Look how much happier I am! This one had no issues.
Price: 5/5
Quality: 5/5 - No lace and a simple design made this one hard to mess up. There is no sloppy stitching whatsoever.
Fit: 5/5 - Once again, the custom fit was great

I didn't take any pictures specifically with the blouse, but I am wearing it in the reviews with the above items. I was expecting the music note lace, but hoping that I'd get a different one since I have nothing music themed and didn't care for it much. Unfortunately, I did get it, but at least it's not as bad of quality as the lace on the JSK.

Jewelry/Accessories
This is where I feel very mixed in my review. The jewelry at F+F is very cheaply priced, and it's for a reason. I've never owned accessories that were so cheaply made. I'm just going to list everything together, since I bought a lot, unfortunately.
Items: Crystals and Pearls Bracelet Cute Balls and Peach Blossoms Bracelet Ribbon and Jewel Earrings Poodle Bowknot Earrings Pearls and Bowknots Barrette Cotton Lace Hairband
With the exception of the hairband, which isn't so bad, I would have rather not bought this stuff and spent a bit more buying the brands sold here in the US. I looked at Target right after I got these and found at least 3 things that looked very similar, only better quality, for a few dollars more.

Note the two missing pearl beads. Luckily I have them and can glue them back on...
Cheap gold is not my style.
These didn't come with any earring backs, and still have that lovely cheap gold.
These did have backs and cheap silver still looks better than cheap gold in my opinion. I'm not going to go into number ratings, since I think it's obvious how I feel about all of it.
Lastly, the company review:
Communication: 4/5 - The order took longer than originally expected, but they didn't say anything telling me the status. I wasn't too worried, though. I did order one thing that they ran out of, and they emailed me asking if I'd like to replace it. When I said no, they promptly refunded me.
Price: 4/5 - At least the jewelry was cheap. The only thing I thought was overpriced for the quality was the JSK.
Packaging: 5/5 - They shipping everything in a sturdy box, individually wrapped in plastic.
Quality: 3/5 - The clothes were mostly okay, but the jewelry was ridiculous.
Phew, finally, that's the end of my lengthy review. I apologize for not including more detail shots, but I don't want to kill browsers or fellow Lolitas (out of boredom).
