Yeah, sometimes the language/style a story is written in can make a difference as to how we react to it. I always found it difficult to read Moby Dick, primarily because of the sentence structure, and the round about ways Melville often took to get to the point of the story. I'd think I'd have problems with longer poetic works, so re-telling them in a more modern prose form is probably a good idea. Dave
