Hi Jake and thanx for the add, but I do indeed have a question about this community!
Is this a community where I can go and just request music like defkeyz, or is this a community where all members must upload music and can request also??
Sorry if I sound ridiculous, but I'm just making sure this place is what I was thinking it was.

Hi, ego_centric. I'll try to answer your question the best I can -- sorry about the delay.

thahookup allows its members to make requests, but it is encouraged that all requests are accompanied by something for other users to download. It doesn't need to be a whole album, it could even be a single... but we're trying to encourage that every post made should have something to download in it.

Now that you're a member though, I'm sure you've seen that this rule isn't strictly stuck to, nor is it strictly enforced.

Informally though, if a user only makes requests without giving back to the community, they become thought of as a leech, and their requests stop getting filled.
