Oh my gosh! That's so awful! Those poor children- little Jack for being tormented so and small Mateo for, well, something really awful had to have happened for him to become that way. Otherwise he's just really lacking in sympathy, which one can only pity in shock. Children oughtn't be that close to the dirty, corrupt adult world. They shouldn't know that sort of cruelty and definitely shouldn't be bringing it upon another. Those poor little youths...:(
