Okay, you caught me. Yes, I am. Damn your intuitive eyes!

I heard fun was had by all and sundry at KWAR this weekend. I talked to two different people about the events at the event, and got the impression that the event was opperating in two parallel dimensions, both of which were stacked to the ceiling with fun people, good fighting, and booze ( Read more... )

Yeah, the pickle present. Well, see, that's a little bone I'm currently picking.

See, I didn't actually "find" the pickle first. I certainly "held" the pickle first, and "touched" the pickle first, and "had possession" of the pickle first. But I didn't get the box of Lindt dark chocolate truffles because, although I was the clear "First Grabber," my stupid little sister actually spied the pickle first. Apparently, the "possession is 9/10" law doesn't actually apply when you're surrounded by people who changed your diaper when you were a baby.

However, I rest easy. We still have three more Christmas functions to go to together, and there is guaranteed pickle at at least one. Victory will be mine!

I share your feeling of jealousy. Sometimes I feel like I miss every damn thing!
Anywho - I was watching TV (which I don't have one because they make my brain turn off and I love my books better anyways so I don't need one -k?) at a friends house and they had this show with drinkable chocolate that looked like gooey chocolatey yummy evil happiness! I must get some. Or at least the name (was is skols?)

Three shots of water?! That hilarious! It's beautiful! I bet you could convince them to think they're drunk if you planned it properly, or just to act drunk! And it's awesome that you got to be the responsible adult while still having fun. :) I'm happy for you.
And that's awesome that they dug your car out, too. I got to do the digging alone at our place. :P

KWAR next year-I'd like to. It all depends on schedule/job/life. Hopefully, I will have a kick-butt job at a Head Start or other non-profit child care center with great bennies, vacation days, and a competitive salary. But I have to leave myself open to maybe, you know, doing what I love without getting paid for it. Or getting time off.

(Not that Head Start pays awesomeness squared, but it's quite a bit more than I'd make anywhere else, so you have to figure in, I'm being wildly flamboyent about a modest career when I say I'm hoping to have a Head Start salary.)

Adam's Housewarming- I've been told I am being kidnapped. I am cool with being kidnapped. I should be there, with full kidnapping-trim.
