Kids.  No, really, even my little boring angels this semester (I say "boring" because you wouldn't believe how "exciting" some of my kids have been in the past).  Today, we decided how we would re-write "The Gingerbread Man" to make it into an original play.  Here's what popped out of their brains:

Nuh uh. I am helping children to recognize and appreciate their own naturally occuring ethics and emotions. I'm not stymying (styming?) or stigmatizing them and forcing them into an unnatural moralistic mold. I'm letting them be them.
