Christmas Eve

So, I'm skipping family Christmas on Christmas Eve 'cause I don't wanna go.  Can't make me!

And my mom freaked out that I'd be alone on Christmas Eve.  She made it sound so pathetic and sad and hopeless...

Luckily, a friend of mine re-arranged her family stuff and is going to take me in for a couple of hours.  She's feeding me chicken noodle soup and

I'm spending Christmas by myself, and contrary to what the basement dweller says, I still think I'm blessed. I will have a day to myself to enjoy as I choose. Mostly watching Christmas movies, knitting, making a gingerbread house, making yummy dinner. And knowing I am blessed many many ways.
