I adore "The Black Velvet Band" - I had it on a 45 when I was a kid, and we would play it over and over, singing along...

Standard advice - sinus yuck of any variety - get a Neti pot. They are gross and wrong, but very effective.

Oh, pink eye--yes, it is icky and nasty. Go to the doctor and get those eyedrops right away. My eyes were so much better within 24-36 hours.

I'm fairly certain there's an over-the-counter form, so, since my insurance hasn't kicked in yet, I'll be hitting up Shopko pharmacy tomorrow. Or maybe Target, if I can ever figure out where the blasted store is... stupid Madison being all ...big... and confusy.

Similasan is a great brand of eyedrops, they make about a dozen varities, and I believe they make one for pinkeye. I know wal-greens carries many of the varities. I also echo Eithni on the neti pot. It's weird, but works wonders on sinus issues.
